Scott Allen Samuel Wells, 57, passed away Aug. 13, 2011 at home in Patterson, Calif.
He was born March 17, 1954 in Price to Delwin Wells and the late Norma World Wells. He was a graduate of Kearns H.S. in 1972. Scott served an honorable LDS mission to Mexico Hermisallo from 1973 to 1975.
On June 20, 1980 he married Leonette Muir in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with four beautiful children. Scott worked for Mt. Bell/USwest/Qwest/AT&T for 30 years in Utah, Arizona, Colorado and California, making many friends. Recently employed at ZIA Safety Consultants as a Safety Manager.
Scott loved hunting, fishing with his kids, he was an awesome gardener and loved picking his fresh vegetables. He loved the study of astronomy, the Spanish culture, and Taekwondo, eventually earning his Black Belt. Scott will be remembered for his generosity and selflessness; he always found the silver lining in every cloud.
He loved the Lord and his family very much and was diligent in his church callings.
He is survived by his wife Leonette, sons Christopher, Patrick, Bradley and daughter Caitlin. Parents Delwin (Renee) Wells, brother Craig (Debbie) Wells, sisters Paula (Terry) Smith, Sidney Williams, Teri (Richard) Timpson, Valerie (Mark) McDougal, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Scott was preceded in death by his mother Norma Jean. He will be missed by many family members and friends. Till we meet again Scott - We love you!!
Funeral service and Interment was held in Patterson, Calif., on Aug. 20, 2011.
