The Carbon High Cross Country team sets goals high while attending H.A.R.C (High Altitude Running Camp) in Upper Deer Valley during the first part of August. These athletes put in the work over the summer by running summer miles and earned the right to train at high altitude for four days. This picture is of them at 9,400 feet at the top of bald mountain. The Heber valley is behind them. They ran twice a day and averaged 7-10 miles every day. They also ran on hiking and biking trails all over the upper Deer Valley ski resort.
