Parrot Head golfers raise funds for foster care, Boys and Girls Club
The Eastern Utah Parrot Head Club wrapped up its annual benefit golf tournament on July 30, bringing in 33 teams and raising $6,500 for The Utah Foster Care Foundation. Those proceeds were used to purchase gift cards at the Price JC Penny's for "back to school" clothes. With the help of the Kiwanis Club, the club was also able to fill 20 backpacks with school supplies to be donated to children in foster care in our local area.
The Parrot Head Club was also able to donate an additional $2,000 to The Boys & Girls Club of Carbon County to be used in their "game room".
