By Carbon County Sheriff's Department

Editor:

This letter is written to clarify statements made in a previous letter (Sun Advocate, May 31) concerning the use of the Spring Glen Community Center by the Carbon County Sheriff's Department.

The Sheriff's Department has not been and never has been denied access to the community center. It should be stated that the Carbon County Sheriff's Department SERT Team inquired about the usage of the build for training purposes. At the time they were informed a fee would be charged to use the facility. The Sheriff's Office apologizes for any misunderstandings that may have developed or occurred due to the previous letters which were not sponsored by the department.
