Tons of Carbon County soil are swept away in a torrent at Cat Canyon during an isolated thunderstorm Wednesday evening. Flooding posed a hazard of hydroplaning for cars on US 6 east of Wellington. Elsewhere, storms inundated SR10 south of Emery Town, leading to a temporary closure. Below, East Carbon got a free light and sound show, including this double-bolt. Photos by C.J.
