Flood water closes back 9 at golf course
The Carbon County Club golf course had to close the back nine of the course due to flooding in the Price River on Tuesday.
Rain coming down from the annual summer monsoon combined with mud raised the level of the Price River that winds through the course.
With cart paths crossing the river at various points on the back nine, course officials closed the back nine after flood waters began overlapping the paths.
No damage was reported to the course, but some cart paths were lined with mud and other debris after the waters had subsided. The only noticeable damage brought by the rising waters was some vegetation along the river path that was knocked over.
