Shattered and uprooted cottonwood trees lie on the ground in front of Mont Harmon Junior High Tuesday morning as Nelco Contractors prepare the site for a new school bus offload loop. School District maintenance supervisor Deon Kone said this project and another parking project next year will ease the traffic problems on 400 North in Price at the start and end of the school day. When this first phase is complete, buses will be able to exit 400 North onto the one-way loop, then exit on a separate route east of the school. Other improvements later will include additional parking and off-street unloading areas to speed the unloading of students who arrive in private vehicles.
