Babe Ruth All-Stars head to regional tournament

The Carbon Babe Ruth All-Stars have three teams traveling to the Vernal area this weekend earn a chance to play in the state tournament. There will be a 13, 14, and 15 year old team heading to Roosevelt for the double elimination contest.

The Carbon 13-year-olds will hit the field on Thursday night with a double header. Their first game will be at 5 p.m. and the second game will follow at 7:30 p.m..

It will be Friday night before the 14-year-olds see action and they will take the field at 5 p.m.. If they lose they will have to get back at it at 7:30 p.m.that night. If they win their first game they will resume play on Saturday at noon. Finally the 15 year olds will have back to back games on Saturday. They take the field at 9 a.m. and again at 11:30 a.m.

The top team from each of these age divisions will head for state tournaments the following week.
