The City of Price and Centennial Celebration sponsors staged two nights of festivities in the city Peace Garden last Thursday and Friday. Thursday's event, staged in conjunction with Culture Connection, featured a talent show featuring local singers. The city also picked the first of many letters school children will be sending to troops in Afghanistan. Mayor Piccolo read the letter to the crowd during an intermission in the performances. On Friday, there was more music, along with dancing and a full'screen video of Guitar Hero on the city's portable theater. Children and adults also got a chance to roast their own marshmallows on a fire pit in the garden.
