Both the Carbon High baseball and the softball teams had good seasons this year. This was because both teams had some good athletes playing for them. Carbon High was well represented on the lists of all state teams from the Deseret News and the Salt Lake Tribune.

In baseball the Deseret News Gage Bigelow and Jaren McCourt were named to 1st team. Hayden Basinger, Julian Tamllos and Dylan Vogrinec made second team. For the Tribune Basinger, Tamllos, Bigelow and McCourt all were part of the second team.

In softball for the Deseret News Kenzie Cave garnered 2nd team honors and Darrian Smith and Alexis Oliver received honorable mention. In the Tribune Megan Tubbs joined Cave being named to second team.
