Open house set to discuss work on Highway 10

Nielson Construction and the Utah Department of Transportation will host an informational open house Thursday afternoon and evening to discuss the road improvements slated for Highway 10 south of Price. The public briefing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Price.

The $1.8 million project is intended to reduce congestion and improve the road between Kilfoyle Krafts and Stake Farm Road, a distance of 4.4 miles.

Planners say that 90 percent of the work will be performed between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. to minimize the impact on drivers.

Those who attend the open house will be able to ask questions on get more information on the scope of the work.

The project is expected to be completed by September.
