Santa's little helpers wrap presents Saturday after volunteers shopped for gifts for more than 800 children from Carbon and Emery counties. Bonnie Peterson, Danae Riche and Tara Harvey were among the volunteers assisting with the United Way's Angel project. Marjorie Jones and Karon Mills headed up the project and distributed more than 4,000 gifts to needy families in the area. All gifts and money for gifts were donated locally. The number of children identified to receive gifts was down substantially in 2002 when compared to last year.
