Don Burge, founding director of the USU-CEU Prehistoric Museum and long-time instructor of sciences at the college, has been selected to be the Grand Marshal in this year's International Days Parade in Price.

It was 50 years ago that Burge and a small group of friends interested in the paleontology and archaeology of the area pooled their resources and drummed up enough support to open a small museum. Over the years it has grown into an internationally recognized scientific resource.

Burge has since retired from his positions as museum director and instructor at the college.
