Wiley Wilson, Haiden Thayn and Jaxsten Thayn give in to a ton of comfort at the Sun Advocate's offices on Main Street in Price.
The Sun Advocate was able to purchase the supplies needed for these beautiful quilts thanks to assistance from the Carbon County LDS Relief Society and several local businesses. The local paper was able to produce more than 185 quilts with the aid of many seamstresses in the area. This donation is of great assistance to the University of Utah's Burn Center, as severe burns cause patients to go through bedding and linen almost daily. In addition to making sure that burn victims are continually supplied with fresh linen, the center also uses the homemade quilts to insure that all severely burned victims go home with a brand new quilt of their very own.
The Sun Advocate would like to thank everyone who donated their time, money, effort and quality work to this project. Make sure to check out next weeks edition for continued coverage of the recent state-wide fireman's conference and the U of U Burn Center Project.
