Desert Thunder Raceway roars into a new season

The roar of race car engines can be heard again off Airport Road at the Desert Thunder Raceway. The track opened its 2011 season last weekend with racers competing in IMCA Modifieds, Southern Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, and Sport Compacts and Trucks. The next races are scheduled for July 1 and 2.
