Request for Bids
Wellington City is seeking proposals from qualified firms for the
cleaning and videoing of the City's sanitary sewer collection system.
The project consists of cleaning and performing a video inspection of
Wellington City's entire sewer system, and a comprehensive evaluation
of the condition of its sanitary sewer system, and prioritization of
all the sewer rehabilitation required to meet immediate and future
needs as recommended by the Division of Water Quality. The City has
approximately 1,700 feet of 6" diameter sewer main, 32,262 feet of 8"
diameter sewer main, 5,108 feet of 10" diameter sewer main and 1,400
feet of 12" diameter sewer main. All bids shall reflect a cost per
foot pricing for the above referenced pipe diameters. Videoing shall
be recorded on compact discs, four copies of which shall be furnished
to the City. A detailed written report shall be furnished the City
showing type of pipe, pipe diameter, locations of all service laterals
and conditions of all sewer main piping and manholes. Work is to be
completed within 90 days of the award of bid and notice to proceed.
Successful bidder shall furnish certificates of insurance for
liability and workers compensation with the City as a named insured
prior to beginning work. Deadline for submitting bids shall be 5 P.M.
on May 18, 2011 at the Wellington City Hall, located at 150 West Main
Street, P.O. Box 559, Wellington, Utah 84542.
Bids will be opened during the regular City Council Meeting of May
