The Lady Dinos bounced back after a tough loss to Union and took care of business as they beat Park City 6-1 in their last home game of the season Tuesday.

This was the final regular season home game for Carbon this year and the seniors were honored before the game.

The contest was originally scheduled for Park City, but recent storms have made their fields too muddy to see action. Park City was first to push a run over with one in the second inning. But the Lady Dinos busted it open with a five-run fourth to put the game away. Megan Tubbs came up big with a double that drove in two runs.

Kenzie Cave had another solid performance on the mound allowing only four hits while striking out six. She also gave up only one walk.

"We made a couple of errors, but worked through them and none of them hurt us," said coach Tony Pinedo after the game.

Next week will have Carbon on the road to play ALA on Tuesday and Wasatch on Friday.
