A volunteer Spring Clean-Up Day for Nine Mile Canyon is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants will meet in two locations at 9 a.m. for assignments and trash bags:

1) Uintah Basin residents will meet at the Myton BLM Kiosk, near the Hollow Moon Café.

2) Carbon County residents will meet at Cottonwood Glen (Milepost 27.2) in the canyon.

Volunteers should be sure to bring gloves, sunscreen, and clothes for any weather, food and plenty of drinks. It is also advisable to arrive with a full gas tank and at least one good spare tire. There are no services in the canyon.

At 2:30 p.m. people will gather at the BLM Daddy Canyon pavilion for a pot-luck lunch. There is an optional Nine Mile Canyon Coalition Board meeting at 3:30.

All are welcome. You can get additional information by contacting Bill Walsh, 435.548.2630 or walsh.weathers@gmail.com.
