Irrigation, fishing ponds taking shape at fairgrounds

Earthwork and construction activity are continuing on the irrigation settling pond and urban fishery on the east side of the county fairgrounds. Pipe is being installed and concrete structures for diversion and pumphouse are visible. Work is proceeding at a quick pace on the irrigation phase because agriculltural demand for water from the nearby canal will begin soon.
