Carbon Dinos tennis team seeing a bit of success

The Carbon High boys tennis team continues to struggle but are seeing a little light as Jorge Mendiola beat Judge Memorial's top singles player this week.

The teams of Shade Gigliotto and Ashton Sicilia and the team of Garrett Hunt and Kenny Wood won their doubles matches last week in Richfield.

The scores for Richfield in the singles matches: Nick Haycock(C) lost to Skyler C.2-6, 1-6.

Chris Howell (C) lost to Josh J. 2-6, 3-6; and Cody Bradford(C) lost to Jarod Shiner 0-6, 5-7

For doubles Garrett Hunt/Kenny Wood(C) defeated Joey A/ Weston S 4-6,6-2, 6-4 and Shade Gigliotti/ Ashton Sicilia defeated Porter H/Kyler B 6-1, 6-1

At Judge Memorial on Tuesday April 4 Jorge Mendiola(C) defeated Huy Vo 6-2, 6-3.

Nick Haycock(C) lost to Kyle Barnett 5-7, 1-6; and Chris Howell (C) lost to John Barnett 1-6, 4-6.

In the doubles Garrett Hunt/Kenny Wood(C) lost to Luke Ropner/Brandon Reemsnyder 2-6, 0-6.

Shade Gigliotti/Ashton Sicilia lost to Dion Granger/ Josh Goldsmith 1-6, 4-6
