Water content in the snowpack in the Price River drainage is at 118 percent of normal, and that doesn't count the moisture already in the ground.
Total precipitation since the beginning of the water year is at 142 percent, Price River Water Improvement District general manager Jeff Richens told the board Tuesday.
Now it is time to hope for a cool spring so all that water doesn't come down all at once.
Richens also reported that the Bureau of Reclamation will increase outflow from Scofield Reservoir to prevent uncontrolled spillage later.
