Wilma and Ed Howa tally up the items that Brett and Kortnee Austin and son Hunter bough at the 45th annual Kiwanis Radio auction Sunday at radio station KOAL. The auction was an all-day event staffed by volunteers working for the benefit of children in Castle Country. This is the organization"s major fund raising event of the year. Proceeds go for such activities as the annual Kid"s Day at Washington Park. Area businesses donated the goods and services that were sold during the auction.
