Sun Advocate sports reporter

After a tournament in St George the tennis Coach Pete Riggs just described as a "learning experience"the team came home for a match against Park City. The Dinos lost the match, but continued to gain experience.

Riggs summed it up, "This match was against one of the best teams in the state. All of our kids performed well according to the experience levels. Almost all of my team are first and second year players, but they all are getting better. Overall I thought the boys played pretty well against a much stronger opponent. There were also some bright spots on the JV."

Singles: Jackson Engen (PCHS) def Jorge Mendiola (CHS) 6-4, 4-6, 6-3; Matt Groy (PCHS) def Nick Haycock (CHS) 6-0, 6-2; Evan Fleming (PCHS) def Chris Howell (CHS) 6-0, 6-1; Doubles: Kasra Motughed/Aiden Boddington (PCHS) def Shade Gigliotti/Ashton Sicilia (CHS) 6-0, 6-0; Zach Jackson/Brian Tillman (PCHS) def Cody Bradford/Garrett Hunt (CHS) 6-2, 6-2
