Editor:

I've wondered lately if I'm the only one in the Castle Valley having second thoughts about having a nuclear power plant in our back yard.

I had misgivings about it right fromthe start. But now I have more than misgivings.

Perhaps we shoul see if it's too late to change this. I live within 40 miles of four coal fired power plants and I don't have to have any fear about the kind of catastrophe that Japan is going through. why not a coal fired power plant? We have plenty of coal in this area and plenty of miners to dig it. This is a serious problem and there is no way they can ssure us tht it will be safe.

Let's hear from others.
