Michelle Holley, AJ Vigil, Daviana Martinez, Collette Freestone, Mary Quintana, Joseph Vigil and Johnny English pose around 9,177 pounds of donated food collected by the Boy Scouts of America this past Saturday. According to Quintana, this year's drive was incredibly important as the local shelter's shelves were getting very low. "This drive is what will hold us over until next year," said Quintana. The local food bank currently serves about 670 families per month in Carbon County, that is up 260 total families from the same time period in 2008.
