Price City police officers survey the scene after a car ran into a United Parcel Service truck at the intersection of 300 S and Highway 55 on Tuesday afternoon. According to a police report, a 2003 silver Oldsmobile Alero driven by Joshua Hayes, 29, Price, failed to stop at the red light at the intersection and slammed into the UPS delivery truck driven by Jeromy Gunter, 36, Price. Hayes was cited for failing to stop at a red light, according to Price police. To ensure delivery of the packages left in the truck, another UPS driver stopped by and picked up the remaining packages to be delivered to customers in the area.
