 | | Published 812 days ago | Eldon Miller completes book on Hiawatha
Eldon Miller of Helper has been hard at work for 24 years collecting stories, pictures and history from and about Hiawatha. Thanks to him, these memories have now been published as a book. Miller has interviewed Hiawatha folks and has added recollections of his own. The Carbon County Historical Society recently featured Miller as their guest speaker, and all in attendance recalled fond memories of neighbors, friends, acquaintances and places. This book is a compilation of "special memories of a special town filled with special people". Copies of this book are available at the Sun Advocate or by calling Eldon at 472-8253.
