Shuffle in East Carbon, Wellington schools

Melissa Hamilton is leaving as principal of Bruin Point Elementary School in East Carbon/Sunnyside to take the helm at Wellington Elementary.

Hamilton will replace Kelly Martinez, who has resigned to take a new job with the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, NV.

Carbon School District elementary supervisor Joan Atwood said Friday that the district has not yet named a successor for Hamilton at Bruin Point.
