Cat Canyon reopens

After closing Cat Canyon this morning about 8:30 a.m. because of ice on the road and a number of accidents along the stretch between Wellington and Sunnyside Junction, authorities have now reopened Cat Canyon and traffic is flowing once again.

However, motorists are warned to still be careful and reduce speed through the entire eastern Carbon County area including on Highway 123 between the junction with Highway 6 and East Carbon.
