Taking a tough loss to heart, the Lady Eagles came back strong splitting the weekend games with Snow College and Salt Lake Community College.

The Lady Eagles faced Snow College on Friday, falling to the Badgers 62-50. CEU played a close game for most of the first half but let the Badgers take a three-point lead into the half, 29-26. The second half did not get any better for CEU as they were not able to mount a comeback. CEU went 1 for 13 from three-point range in the game.

Bruna Deichmann led the Lady Eagles with 20 points and 4 rebounds and Priscila Santos had 12 points and 6 rebounds.

Rebounding from the tough loss, The Lady Eagles hosted the #13 ranked Bruins of SLCC. CEU built up a 26-6 lead with eight minutes left in the first half. This time there would be no second half let down as the Lady Eagles maintained the lead winning 79-62.

Santos led CEU with 26 points and 8 rebounds. Deichmann added 13 points and Daiana Ferreria had 9 points and 7 rebounds in the win.

The Lady Eagles are now 7-9 (2-1 in conference play) and are currently in second place. They will now travel to Idaho to play North Idaho and College of Southern Idaho tonight and Saturday.
