Bob Abbey, the director of the Bureau of Land Management will be in Salt Lake City on Friday (Jan. 14) to meet with officials and the public concerning the change in the status of the BLM in creating "wild lands" as was announced last week.

Abby will be at the Senate Office Building (to the east behind the State Capitol Building) at 2-3:30 p.m. in room 210. All those interested in attending are welcome, but groups on both sides of land issues in the state have planned to bring contingents and the room will be crowded. All interested parties should arrive very early for the meeting.

Parking is available on the east side of the Senate Office Building or on the road east of the capitol complex.
