HUNTINGTON - John Ray "Johnny" Bueno, 46, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully at his home Dec. 30, 2010 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born June 24, 1964 in Price to Max and Louisa Bueno. He married Janice Walter and later divorced. Johnny then married Mary Broadhead in Price on June 10, 2005. Johnny was a welder by trade, a mechanic and a construction worker. He loved camping, fishing, and had a passion for riding his Harley and spending time with the family.
He is survived by his wife Mary Bueno of Huntington; daughters Amanda Bueno & Kirt Rich of Price, Brittany & Justin Garafalias of Wellington; Mary's children Adam Simmons, Utahna Ann-Marie Deal, & Ashlie Lyman. Johnny also leaves his grandchildren AJ & Talon Garafalias, Jennifer Rose Jenks, and his siblings Tina & Osmundo Herrera of New Mexico, Dennis & Anita Salazar of Price, Virginia & John Martinez of Helper, Maxine & Jesus Zammaron of New Mexico, Max Bueno of Price, Molly & Tom Solis of Price. He was preceded in death by his parents Max and Louisa Bueno and a brother Louie Bueno.
Friends may come by the Heritage Funeral Home in Huntington on Tues. Jan. 4, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to pay their respects and sign the guestbook. A viewing will be held at the Helper Stake Center at 150 Ridgeway Road in Helper on Wed. Jan. 5, 2011 from 10 - 12:30 with a service to follow at the Church.
