Trace Johnson does a good deed for his neighborhood Wednesday morning as he uses his four-wheeler to plow snow from sidewalks. The winter storm came earlier than expected, causing motorists to skid off highways and get stuck in driveways. Brace for arctic weather over the next few days, as temperatures are predicted to plummet below zero by Friday. Highs through the weekend are expected to be in the low to mid-teens. Look for gradually clearing skies by Saturday. Apologies to Ezra Pound for using only the first line of his poem in the caption. The second line is not printable in this newspaper.
