David Richey Johnsen discusses his unique creations with local art enthusiasts attending a reception Jan. 11 at Gallery East on the College of Eastern Utah campus in Price. Johnsen, along with Thomas Elmo Williams, mingled with Carbon County residents who visited the exhibit and admired the works created by the Helper artists. The pieces of artwork display brilliant color and intricate detail, including paintings depicting events occurring throughout Carbon County's history. The exhibit will run through Jan. 31 at the CEU gallery.
