Emergency responders wheel a victim of an accident to the county ambulance as traffic rushes by on Carbon Avenue south of the bypass road in Price. The accident reportedly happened at approximately 6:30 p.m. when Scott Lindquist of Price pulled out of Market Express and attempted to turn left onto Carbon Avenue. Meanwhile, a coal-haul semi exited the freeway to head south on Highway10 and a red beretta driven by Pablo Guzman of Price was purportedly traveling directly alongside the tractor-trailer. Lindquist apparently saw the coal truck, but when the big rig passed, the driver pulled out and the Guzman vehicle hit the white Ford Escort in the side, spinning it around into the north bound lanes. The Beretta came to rest in the middle of the street. Lindquist was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries. Lindquist was also cited by the Price City Police Department for failure to yield.
