ST. GEORGE - Dell Brownfield, age 93, passed away on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010. He was born October 12, 1917, in Montrose, MO., to Charles and Alice Brownfield. He married Vera "Dolly" Brownfield, Oct.12, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Dell was raised and graduated in Missouri and later moved to Price, where he went into the mining field. He retired to St. George, where he met Dolly and they eventually married. They enjoyed camping with the Color Country Ramblers Good Sams Club, in the summer they would travel to Star Valley, Wyo., and in the winter to Yuma, Ariz. They traveled extensively in between and every place they went they had to play golf. They also belonged and enjoyed going to the Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Vera "Dolly" Brownfield of St. George; his daughter, Janet and Gary Prazen of Price; Dolly's children, Brent and Debbie Brusch, Dennis and Debbie Terrell and Shane and Loren McGeehan all of Salt Lake City. He has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren which he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents; previous spouses, Dawn Brownfield and Chrystal Brownfield; and his best friend Bob Ward and families.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Palms RV Club House, 150 N. 3050 E., St. George.
