County schedules discussion of radiological preparedness

Carbon County is hosting a Homeland Security briefing on radiological emergency preparedness Wednesday at the Fairgrounds Events Center from 10 a.m. to noon. The briefing will include information on the Blue Castle Holdings proposal to build a nuclear power plant complex near Green River.

Dan Feighert, manager of the Department of Homeland Security/FEMA Region VIII National Preparedness Division Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program will conduct an open discussion.
