Price City Mayor Joe Piccolo and the Price City Councilors recognized four local students for being named winners in the annual Price City essay contest at the Price City Council meeting on Nov. 10. All fourth graders in Price participated in the contest which asked students to write about what they like best about living in Price in 500 words or less. Students who won the contest received an iPod Shuffle, a commerative coin, a pin and a pen. The winning essays will be on display at the City Hall for one year.

The winners of the contest (L to R) are Hailey Mills, Marquee Jensen, Austin Huff and Kaylen Ware. Castle Heights 4th grade teacher Marilyn Ellis, front right, was also present at the meeting.
