More improvements needed

By Bert L. Collins

We thank he state of Utah for the improvements on Highway 6. We appreciate it very much.

We also appreciate the efforts of our law enforcement people.

We note, however, that the south end of Highway 6 has far too many stretches of two and three lanes and that the bridges need to be upgraded to four lane capable. In fact, give the present traffic volume this highway needs to be four lanes, full length.

Again, this is a major artery in the state's highway system. There is a massive amount of revenue going to the state every year from this area.

When the Lila Canyon mine is up to full production there will be a huge increase in traffic on an already over loaded road.
