A little dog in a little snow

A 12 week old puppy walks through snow that fell on Reservation Ridge on Monday, covering the road and the trees near Avintaquin campground. The snow was about four inches deep and for the pup, the first time in the snow was a little perplexing. However, for the rest of us, the early snow in the mountains is a good thing. We just need more of it to make the water year for the next growing season plentiful.
