Sue Brown and Shirley Peterson along with Louise and Bill Schneider unload the 1,044 pounds of non-perishable food items and toiletries collected for the local pantry by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2379 and the organization's ladies auxiliary. With the 2002 holiday season rapidly approaching, the Carbon County Food Bank needs all types of items and is accepting donations from organizations as well as individuals. The county food bank is located at at 75 East 400 South in Price and the pantry may be contacted by telephone at 637-9232.
