School district pan sale under way

Carbon Food Service annual pan sale is here again at the Carbon School District office. Residents line up to buy professional quality kitchen cookware and accessories. This sale, always during voting time, runs Nov. 2, 3 and 4, and monies go to training for Child Nutrition employees in Carbon School District for Hazard Analysis Critical Point System and Serve Safe. HACCP is one of the key components of a successful food safety certification program. A HACCP program identifies where physical, chemical and biological hazards might occur in the production process, and implements preventive measures so the risk of hazard is reduced.
