Letter to the Editor: All that is necessary...

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men accept the lesser of two evils. Okay, so the original quote, which is usually misattributed to Edmund Burke, says "do nothing." But if the choices presented to us are socialism 2.0 and socialism lite, we should clearly choose... wait for it... that's right, freedom!
It's high time to abandon the false choice of Democrat or Republican. The two-party system has done nothing for us but provide us with an unending supply of new bums with which to replace old bums.
We all know that power corrupts, and we all know that the two main political parties are powerful. What does that tell you?
Let's face it folks, the parties are in it for themselves. So do Utah and America a favor this election and vote for a responsible, freedom-loving candidate and not a corrupt, fat cat party with a proven track record of running our liberties into the ground, taxing us to high heaven, spending money we don't have, and prosecuting adventuristic wars in every corner of the globe.
An election is a matter of conscience; it is not a horse race. Think about it!
