Editor:

I want to express my thanks to the publisher of the Sun Advocate and the excellent reporting of Terry Willis for her column (Sun Advocate, Rantings and Ravings, Oct. 26) regarding how much we all rely on the federal government in our everyday lives.

I don't understand Teabaggers when they whine that they want the federal government out of their lives. I haven't heard one of them say what they would personally give up.

Also, I would like to commend reporter John Serfustini for his article (Sun Advocate, Stimulus spending in Carbon $17 million, Oct. 28) laying out the Obama stimulus money that came to Carbon County. I hear so many people complain that the stimulus didn't work.

Well tell that the to the cities in Carbon County and the people whose jobs were saved or created.
