Drug task force arrests 2, seizes drugs, firearms in Wellington

Carbon Metro Drug Task Force agents arrested two Wellington men Oct. 19 after an extensive investigation into alleged illegal narcotics activities at a Wellington address. Assisting in the investigation were Price Police School Resource Officer Robb Radley, Wellington Police Sergeant Kelly Maynes and Helper Police Officer Lynn Archuleta.

The investigation yielded a large quantity of marijuana along with Oxycodone tablets, cash and firearms.

Justin Wade Huberd, 18, and Andres Saul Torres, 24, were booked into the Carbon County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute in a drug free zone and possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug free zone.
