Rio Theatre to stage Shakespearean spoof

"The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)," by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield is performing three shows at The Rio Theatre in Helper this weekend.

This romp through the Bard's complete works is produced by the Old Lyric Repertory Theatre in Logan and sponsored by Utah State University/College of Eastern Utah, The OtherSide Players and The Helper Arts Council.

Featuring actors Nicholas Dunn (CEU graduate and former Price resident), Phillip Lowe and Will Richardson, and directed by Jim Christian, this comedy takes audiences on a roller coaster ride through all 37 of Shakespeare's plays in just 99 minutes. Showtimes Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $18 for adults, $8 for students and $5 for USU/CEU students with ID. For more information and advance ticket reservations call 435-472-1615.
