The Carbon High Girl's soccer team is having a rough season. They dropped yet another game to Union 11-0 last Thursday.

After beating Grantsville 1-0 in their first game, it has been down hill and they know it. But a 4-0 loss to ALA on Tuesday is actually a step in the right direction.

Key injuries and loss of their most experienced players to graduation last year have put the squad in a place they didn't want to be. But the great news is that the team is banding together to look at ways to be much better next season.

The girls are excited about finding a way to get involved with club ball. They and their parents are willing to give up Saturdays and travel to gain the skills and experience they know is only going to help themselves in the future.

Coach Keith Palmer has been negotiating and working with the coaches who are involved so the Carbon girls can be part of the club soccer league. There has been some girls who have participated on their own in the past, but they have since graduated.

The Lady Dinos have a home game with Wasatch on Sept. 21 at the Utah State University College of Eastern Utah field at 4 p.m.
