Helper wins as junior highs battle

Loryn Hanson and Celeste Smith of the Pinnacle Acadamy Junior High volleyball squad play the net as they took on Helper in their first match of the season. The Pinnacle Jr. High volleyball team lost to Helper 12-20, 16-20, and 16-20. The Pinnacle High School went down to a JV Tournament and played 9 games winning two. Teams at the tournament were Whitehorse, Monument Valley, Kirtland, Grand, Monticello and San Juan. This is Pinnacle's first season as a 1A school and part of the Utah High School Activities Association.
