Don't cut down the President

Editor:

This is in reference to Bob Warren's letters that he writes to the editor of the Sun Advocate.

He has done nothing but cut our President and goverment down. He has written many letters to the editor which many of us has read with pure disgust. How dare you, Mr. Warren, say the things you have written about the President and goverment, when you yourself received new insulation, windows, doors. a furnace with central air and a new refrigerator from a goverment program. If you hate them all so bad why did you let this be put in your home. If I hated someone or something that bad, I would not take from it.

In case you forgot the people of this great nation called the United States voted for Barack Obama; we felt there needed to be a change. When President Clinton left office our country was in the black. I might add that he was a Democrat. Then the Bush administration took over. Wow! When they left we were so in the red my sons or grandchildren will never see the light.

I applaud Joe Stock and the lady from Grand Junction for writing what they did. If you don't get enough Social Security to support yourself then that's your fault. Because the rest of us have made a good living we will be happy to receive back what we have put in.

So my suggestion to you is for you to go for a ride in your fancy four-wheel drive, your three-wheel motorcycle, your motor home or maybe a long ride in your BMW (or what ever make that fancy little car is) and leave our President and goverment alone. Or take a ride on your four-wheeler. Actually you told me in person that the four-wheelers were ruining our beautiful mountains.

My Dad fought in World War II so when I was born I would live in a free country. I am a proud American woman; so if you don't like our country feel free to leave it.

It makes me sick my son could lose his life (military) for people who don't appreciate our country. We walk free, we speak freely, we live where we want, we pick our own religon and we worship how we want, Where in this world can other people say and do all these things.

I thank God everyday for the men who have fought in all the wars and for the men and women who fight today.

God Bless Them one and all.
