County horseshoe league a success

Shawn Pierce puts his all into his throw as he lets his horseshoe fly in the end of summer league horse shoe tournament. Carbon County Recreation sponsored the league for the first time. There have been 13 teams going at it since June 23. They wrap things up in a double elimination tournament Tuesday and Thursday. There will be a fall horseshoe league that will start on Sept. 7 and run for four weeks. Interested people should contact Carbon Recreation to sign up.
